His Appearance | by Imam Omar Sulaiman
- Allah never sent a prophet who has a beautiful face & voice
- His character is far more beautiful than his appearance
-Abdullah ibn Wahab: describe the presence of the Prophet "if the prophet has nothing but his presence, you will look at him and you would know already that there was something divinely beautiful about him"
-There is a lot of beautiful story about people embracing Islam just by looking at prophet Muhammad.
- Abdullah Abdul salam, the chief before the years of prophet Muhammad said "just by looking at his face, I know this ain't face of a liar"
- Describe in a book of description: from head to toe (al-syamail al-muhammadiyah) Muhammad appearance:
Face: more beautiful than the moon. "Prophet Muhammad was made full of inspiring appearance. his face more radiant than the full moon"
Imam Malik: "There is one night that I want to compare, I look at the full moon than I look at the face of prophet. i asked myself, which one is more radiant. than I come to the conclusion his face is more radiant more beautiful than the full moon in the desert. the full moon is not only beautiful but also so captivating. as to everything else about prophet muhammad is perfectly bound".
Also in a hadith: "prophet came to Maryam a.s as a perfect symmetrical man".
-Prophet is perfect in everything.
Height: He is not too tall not too short.
Skin: His skin not too light not too dark.
Face: His face is not too round and not too narrow.
Eyes: His eyes have a good contrast that his black eyes are perfect black and his white eyes are perfectly white.
Eyelashes: his eyelashes were so long it looked like they naturally had Kuhl (eyeliner). His eyes have always been moist with tears.
Eyebrows: He had these large curve eyebrows that almost connected but with beautiful space between them that shines light.
Forehead: he also has a prominent forehead and on his forehead has a vein that always shows when he became the prophet.
Nose: HIs nose, was not flat nor too pointy; his nose slightly slop with a unique glimmer on it that shine to make it looks prominent.
Teeth: His teeth are perfectly set, white as a hailstone, and they weren't clustered together (there are fine lines between each of them), he has a wide smile that when he speaks the words sounds crisp. you can hear everything he said. his voice is melodious.
Hair: His hair is in between; nor too straight nor too curly, he has wavy hair. He sometimes put his hair behind his earlobe but also put them all over his shoulder. But during the time of hajj, he will shave full of his hair. His beards are fully black. When he combs his hair he will comb his beard too. "The sahaba counted between 12 to 20 grey hairs in his hair and heard at the time of his death (63 years old)". The prophet is not a hairy man, he has only has a lot of hair on his head and heard and just a normal little hair on his chest that run long until his navel.
Neck: His neck has an elegant long neck.
Shoulder: His shoulder is broad and strong, strong chest. and during his death, his stomach is not beyond his chest. He maintains his weight during his lifetime.

Lower body parts: The lower body is so strong. Which stated in a hadith he had mounted on a horse without a saddle. - a warrior. his hands and feet are smooth that his hands and feet were smoother than silk.
Scent: He has a beautiful scent. When he sweats, he sweats perfume. If we shake his hands the scent will be left on you for many days. He has the best of breath. When we stare at his beauty, it is so amazing that we can't stare at him for so long.
Narrated by Al-Bara in a hadith, "Where he went out at night, and I saw prophet in a red hood that he got from Yaman; his favourite hood and he said never seen a beautiful sight as Him".
Abu Hurairah said; "I saw prophet has was so perfectly set it was as if he was moulded in silver. his smile- always smiling; when he happy when he sad.
Khatib ibn Malik: "When the prophet is happy his face will be even more radiant".
CAPTURE
How can the Prophet smile so much that he always been in a state of grief and in place of deep thought?
He never had time to break always carry so much. His character is prominent in his smiling. We always see that a person has no problem just because we always sees them smiling. As we know smiling is sadaqah.
Imagine that "There is no man that smiling to his ummah more than Him, but at the same time, there is no man in his ummah that wipe more than the prophet. during the day, to bring joy to the people, he smiles to bring generosity, and during the night he cried a lot to the Lord to bring joy and happiness to the rest of us".
